Overview

The Northeast neighborhood in Blue Island, Illinois experiences chronic and severe urban flooding due to an overburdened sewer system and area topography.

The City engaged Antero Group to implement a $1M+ Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Green Infrastructure Grant (IGIG).

Antero Group provided preliminary and design engineering services, and managed the construction of green infrastructure throughout the neighborhood.
