RainReady Park

Overview
With support from Antero Group, the Village of Midlothian was successfully awarded funding to develop a “green” park. The park included a permeable parking lot, rain garden and native plantings next to the Village Hall.
Antero Group staff were responsible for the design of the stormwater management strategy, plant selection, and implementation management.
Additional project funds, as well as countless volunteer hours, have expanded this park, transforming this once blighted area into an attractive public meeting place.
