Broadway Avenue Reconstruction Project

Overview
Antero Group completed the preliminary and design engineering services for the Broadway Avenue Reconstruction Project in the City of Harvey. This work included due diligence activities and utility coordination to inform the selection of a preferred design alternative. Additionally, this project included the production of full design engineering documents from roadway geometry, pavement design, storm sewer and watermain design, ADA-compliant intersections, traffic controls, and erosion control measures. This project also included advancing permitting through the City of Harvey, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, ensuring the project was fully ready for construction. This project was funded through the Regional Transit Authority, Cook County DOT, Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, and Illinois Department of Transportation with support from the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association.
