About the Job:

Antero Group is seeking a motivated and talented engineer with strong transportation experience. The ideal candidate wishes to advance toward more project engineering and management tasks, supporting the development of a growing transportation portfolio.

This opportunity allows the selected candidate to work remotely as part of a broad national team with offices in Chicago, Denver, and Dallas-area. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Support various civil engineering projects including, but not limited to:

  • Transportation
    • Intersection Design
    • Roadway Design
    • Department of Transportation Compliance
    • Traffic studies
    • H&H Software Proficiency
    • Storm Sewer Design
    • FEMA Reporting
    • Plan Development
    • Report Writing
  • Additional Tasks:
    • Support diverse civil engineering project
    • Support transportation planning
    • Budget and schedule management


  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and has a strong grasp of civil engineering methods, tools, and processes with a focus on transportation-related projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 4-6 years of civil engineering experience (EIT preferred)
  • Familiar with various stormwater modeling software
  • Familiar with FEMA and other relevant regulatory guidelines

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent quantitative and engineering skills
  • Excellent project/time management skills
  • A desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple long-term projects and immediate tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work well on teams and individually
  • Proficiency with the following software packages: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software (general knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus)
